I'm well aware that Mac Jones is not going to just jump in and save us, although that's a nice fantasy, not likely. Nor am I going to immediately place the Brady expectation on him, although that is ultimately inevitable here in New England. I'm sure you have all seen this gem...

It's something to believe in. There were a few things I wanted to avoid through this draft. I did not want a thing to do with Jimmy G(lass). I obviously wanted nothing to do with future draft picks. The time is now. Tom Brady isn't going to be around forever. We need a shot to retaliate. Tampa Bay is going no where. Their third option at receiver is Antonio fucking Brown. Third. If he's not open, I guess he'll settle for Gronk. I like that we signed Jonnu and Hunter so Cam will have more help in the short range. Long balls just wont happen so lets face reality and grind. Overall I'm just happy it seems as though we are trying to win again and not just proving we can win thrifty. So I was pumped for this draft to say the least. I figured I would go live to touch up on the broadcast of the podcast. We basically focused on the Banter side of the draft last night, Zoom format worked like a charm. Consider us Team Beta up until last night. Learning the production/tech side of this project has been tedious. We had some viewers join and engage last night which we love. Loved the insight from local legend and former owner of Leitrim's Pub circa 2000ish. He kept us on topic, even when my co host Tom lost his shit on The Bengals organization and fans.
